What’s in that book, then, that people want me to talk about it?
Let me answer as briefly as possible (because a lot is already described, here, on this blog. Plus there’s also the book, of course, if you want it all in one place, wrapped up in an entertaining and compelling story).
Okay, let me tell you—succinctly—what I’m going to say at those speaking events.
I’m going to tell folk…
Whatever it is you’d like to do—whatever you’d like to achieve.
Hi, I'm Michael DiLauro, author ofThe Net Present Value of Life
First off, that money I spend my life counting? Not mine.
That's because I'm an accountant, an accountant who writes.
I love to write; I live to write (Cliché? Melodrama? Does that picture make me look fat?)
I write about money, I write about business, and careers, and true success. And I write about how cool it would be to meld passion and careers.
But hey, look at me getting philosophical and heavy. And we only just met.
If you'd like to read about people with careers that set their soul on fire, then I know you'll love my book.
In the meantime, stay awhile, poke around, and please leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy it.
P.S. If you're thinking, "Well, he's an accountant. He probably wrote some stupid, boring accounting book."
Well, please check out what others have said here.
And I didn't pay them either. Trutfh.
